Accident and emergency (A&E) departments provide immediate emergency care for people who show the symptoms of serious illness or are badly injured. A&E departments are open 24 hours every day.

Dietetics and nutrition services
You can access comprehensive nutrition and dietetic services in a range of locations across West Sussex. Nutrition and dietetics services provide impartial advice about nutrition and health for adults and children. They can advise about food-related problems and treat disease and ill-health.
Drug services
If you have a drug problem, there is a lot of free support and help available across West Sussex. Services include telephone support, group sessions, supervised community detoxification, social support and onward referral to other specialist agencies.
Expert Patients Programme
The Expert Patients Programme is a self-management course developed for people who live with any long-term health condition. The course aims to empower people to take effective control of their health condition, ultimately allowing them to lead a better quality of life.
